RPM Engineers was present during the visit to Timah Tasoh Dam by the KSU of Petra, YBhg. Dato’ Haji Mad Zaidi. He was flanked by the JPS Deputy Director General YBrs. Ir. Mohamad Radzi, Director of JPS Corporate Office Ir. Muhammad Zaki, Director of JPS Flood Management Division Ir. Marenawati, Director of JPS Design & Dams Ir. Ts. Zakiyyah, Director of JPS Negeri Perlis En Amir Budiman, and other JPS personnels. The Timah Tasoh Dam, located in Perlis, has the longest embankment amongst dams in the Peninsular Malaysia at approximately 3.6km. The upgrade project aims to increase the dam’s capacity from 40 MCM to 60MCM, improves the state’s flood resilience and help to spur the state’s economic growth.
